The 9th biennial World Golf Teachers
Cup
and The 14th annual United States Golf Teachers Cup
are headed to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina
November 1-5, 2009.
The world-famous
Palmetto Dunes and Hilton Head
Marriot Resort will be hosting the event.

Dunes Oceanfront Resort offers three championship
courses, the George Fazio Golf Course, Arthur Hills Golf
Course, and Robert Trent Jones Golf Course. The
tournaments will be played on the George Fazio and
Arthur Hills courses. These are the same courses on
which Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson honed their skills
when they were in college.
Palmetto Dunes has won

Participants will stay at the beautiful beachfront
Hilton Head Island Marriott. The Marriott offers

This
will be the largest event in World Cup history with over
200 teaching professionals from 35 WGTF member nations
expected.

A
$50,000 purse is guaranteed based on a full
field of 208 players. Play will be held in four
divisions, Open,Women's, Senior (50+), and Super
Senior (60+).
The
United States Golf Teachers Cup will be held
Monday-Tuesday, November 2-3, and the World Golf
Teachers Cup will be held Wednesday-Thursday,
November 4-5.
The US Cup is the national championship event of
the USGTF, and features individual play. The
World Cup is the world championship event of the
WGTF, and features concurrent team and
individual play. |

will be available 3 days prior to the event at
the rate $60.00 inclusive of practice balls
before & after play and all taxes. Practice
